Our Philosophy
UN MUNDO NUEVO was born from the need to create an environment where children can develop Spanish speaking skills through individually personalized teaching at their own pace. UMN is contributing to the learning process of our children to prepare them for a more competitive and multicultural environment, all of this will be accomplished by given them tools and necessary values for a successful path. The integral development at UMN exceeds the standards given by the department of human services by incorporating extra-curricular activities such as YOGA, DANCE, PHYSICAL EDUCATION, DRAMA, ARTS, TECHNOLOGY, CULTURAL AWARENESS, FIELD TRIPS, EVENTS and more.

Our Programs
Infants
Infants are rapidly adjusting to the new world around them, constantly taking in information to form a foundation for future growth and development. Our caring teachers provide a loving, dependable and trusting help each baby reaches their greatest potential in all areas including:
- Language, Literacy and Communication

- Social and Emotional Development
- Motor Development, Health and Well-being
We provide warm, nurturing care and education to infants ages 6 weeks through 15 months.
Toddlers
UMN multicultural toddler curriculum are designed specially to provide a safe and enriched learning environment for each child help them reach their maximum potential in all areas of development:
- Social and emotional development
- Language literacy and communications
- Mathematics Social systems:
- Cognitive
- Scientific thinking
- Physical and movement development
- The arts
Children from 16 months through 3 years old.
Preschoolers
UMN Preschool Program is designed for children who do not understand or speaks Spanish, but it is also perfect for native Spanish speakers. Our qualified teachers, strong curriculum and fascinating classroom environment all help foster a complete child development experience. UMN Preschool uses a curriculum that is standards -based. Children will have the opportunity to progress through all materials at their own pace. The curriculum has heavy emphasis on Math, Reading, Writing and Science Physical Education is also a very important component of each day. UMN focuses on the four areas of integral education:

Children from 3 through 5 years old.
School Ages
UMN School Age Program promote the social, physical educational and emotional growth of all children in a safe, caring and structured environment. The primary goal is to ensure all families have access to affordable, high quality before and after school programs promoting strong academy success, health and fitness, recreational activities and enrichment opportunities that nurtures all aspects of the development of children and youth.
